Volunteer
Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.
Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.
Volunteers required to help at Haywards Heath Foodbank
Do you have a few hours to spare each week or every other week?
Would you like to help make a difference to those in need in our local area?
We now require some more volunteers to help with the operation of our Foodbank. Helpers are needed to:
– collect donated food from our collection points and weigh in
– sort donated food by type and date
– pack food parcels ready for delivery or collection
– deliver food parcels to clients’ homes
– give out food parcels to clients who collect from our warehouse
You can choose which of the above you help with – they are carried out on different days.
If you are interested in volunteering or require more information please do get in touch, we’d love to hear from you!
Thank you for your interest!
