Give Help

Volunteer

Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.

Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.

Volunteers at Haywards Heath Foodbank

March 2026

We are looking for volunteers to fill a couple of specific roles at our foodbank:

a) we need someone who would be able to drive our van to collect donations from a local supermarket either on Thursday evenings or early Friday mornings (about 8am).

b) we need someone to check, clean and repair where possible secondhand pushchairs and cots that are donated to us.

Both of the above could be done on a rota basis if we have enough volunteers.

If you think you would be able to help with either of the above we would love to hear from you! You will find our phone number and email on the Contact Us webpage and at the very bottom of this page.
